OSLO, July 23 (Reuters) - A suspected right-wing fanatic accused of killing at least 92 people deemed his acts "atrocious" yet "necessary" as Norway mourned victims of the nation's worst attacks since World War Two.
Police were hunting on Sunday to see if a possible second gunman took part in the shooting massacre and bomb attack on Friday that traumatized a normally peaceful Nordic country.
In his first comment via a lawyer since he was arrested, 32-year-old Norwegian Anders Behring Breivik expressed willingness to explain himself in court at a hearing likely to be held on Monday about extending protective custody.
"He has said that he believed the actions were atrocious, but that in his head they were necessary," lawyer Geir Lippestad told independent TV2 news.
Police said Breivik gave himself up after admitting to a massacre in which at least 85 people died, mostly young people attending a summer camp of the youth wing of Norway's ruling Labour Party on an idyllic island.
Breivik was also arrested for the bombing of Oslo's government district that killed seven people hours earlier. Norway's toughest sentence is 21 years in jail.

Survivors, relatives of those killed and supporters planned a procession to mourn the dead at Sundvollen on Sunday, near the island where the massacre took place.

King Harald would attend a service in Oslo cathedral, a few hundred meters (yards) from where a bomb devastated government buildings including the offices of Labour Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg.
Police said they were seeking several missing people and the toll could rise to 98, in the worst case.
Lippestad, speaking late on Saturday, did not give more details of possible motives by Breivik.
Breivik hated "cultural marxists," wanted a "crusade" against the spread of Islam and liked guns and weightlifting, web postings, acquaintances and officials said.
A video posted to the YouTube website showed several pictures of Breivik, including one of him in a Navy Seal type scuba diving outfit pointing an automatic weapon.
"Before we can start our crusade we must do our duty by decimating cultural marxism," said a caption under the video called "Knights Templar 2083" on the YouTube website, which took down the video on Saturday.
A Norwegian website provided a link to a 1,500 page electronic manifesto which says Breivik was the author. It was not possible to verify who posted the video or wrote the book.
"Once you decide to strike, it is better to kill too many than not enough, or you risk reducing the desired ideological impact of the strike," the book said.
Norway has traditionally been open to immigration, which has been criticized by the Progress Party, of which Breivik was for a short time a member. The Labour Party, whose youth camp Breivik attacked, has long been in favor of immigration.
About 100 people stood solemnly early on Sunday at a makeshift vigil near Oslo's main church, laying flowers and lighting candles. Soldiers with guns and wearing bullet-proof vests blocked streets leading to the government district.
"We are all in sorrow, everybody is scared," said Imran Shah, a Norwegian taxi driver of Pakistani heritage, as a light summer drizzle fell on unusually empty Oslo streets.
"At first, people thought Muslims were behind this," he said of some initial suspicions that the attacks might have been by Al Qaeda perhaps in protest at NATO-member Norway's role in Afghanistan or Iraq.
Some terrified survivors of the shooting rampage said bullets came from at least two sides.
"We are not at all certain" about whether he acted alone, police chief Sveinung Sponheim said. "That is one of the things that the investigation will concentrate on."
Police took almost 1.5 hours to stop the massacre, the worst by a single gunman in modern times. "The response time from when we got the message was quick. There were problems with transport out to the island," he said, defending the delay.
Witnesses said the gunman, wearing a police uniform, was able to shoot unchallenged for a prolonged period. He picked off his victims on Utoeya island northwest of Oslo forcing youngsters to scatter in panic or to jump into the lake to swim for the mainland.
"I heard screams. I heard people begging for their lives and I heard shots. He just blew them away," Labour Party youth member Erik Kursetgjerde, 18, told Reuters.
"I was certain I was going to die," he said. "People ran everywhere. They panicked and climbed into trees. People got trampled."
The bloodbath was believed to be the deadliest attack by a lone gunman anywhere in modern times.
The suspect, tall and blond, owned an organic farming company called Breivik Geofarm, which a supply firm said he had used to buy fertilizer -- possibly to make the Oslo bomb.
Home-grown anti-government militants have struck elsewhere in the past, notably in the United States, where Timothy McVeigh killed 168 people with a truck bomb in Oklahoma City in 1995.
The district attacked is the heart of power in Norway. But security is not tight in a country unused to such violence and better known for awarding the Nobel Peace Prize and mediating in conflicts, including the Middle East and Sri Lanka.

Texas man executed for post-9/11 murder

"I cannot tell you that I am an innocent man. I am not asking you to feel sorry for me," said Mark Anthony Stroman.

(CNN) -- Texas inmate Mark Anthony Stroman was executed Wednesday night for killing a man from India during series of revenge shootings after the terror attacks of September 11, 2001.
Stroman was put to death at 9:53 p.m. ET, a spokesman for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice said.
The U.S. Supreme Court denied a stay of execution for Stroman last month, and his supporters -- including a survivor of one of the shootings attributed to him -- urged Gov. Rick Perry and the state Board of Pardons and Parole to grant clemency. The state Criminal Appeals Court denied his last appeal on Wednesday.
Stroman, 41, made national headlines after he fatally shot Vasudev Patel during a shooting rampage after the 9/11 attacks. An admitted white supremacist, Stroman targeted those he believed were Middle Eastern, in revenge for the attacks.
A Pakistani man, Waqar Hasan, was also murdered, and a Bangladeshi man, Rais Bhuiyan, was seriously wounded.
"I cannot tell you that I am an innocent man. I am not asking you to feel sorry for me, and I won't hide the truth," Stroman told CNN in a recent interview.
"I am a human being and made a terrible mistake out of love, grief and anger, and believe me, I am paying for it every single minute of the day."
Prosecutors say that just days after the attacks on New York, Washington and Pennsylvania a decade ago, Stroman began carefully plotting revenge. At the time, he was free on bail for previous crimes.
On September 15, 2001, Stroman shot Hasan in the head while the man was grilling hamburgers in his convenience store. The 46-year-old Pakistani native had moved to the Dallas area that year to start a new life with his family.
Six days later, Stroman shot Bhuiyan in the face while he manned the counter at a gas station. Bhuiyan survived, but was left blind in one eye.
Then, on October 4, Stroman attempted to rob the Mesquite, Texas, gas station operated by Patel. Surveillance tapes showed the suspect waving a .44-caliber chrome-plated pistol at the clerk and demanding, "Open the register or I'll kill you." The 49-year-old Patel, a Hindu, tried to reach for his gun hidden under the counter, but Stroman shot the man in the chest. He left without taking any cash and was arrested the next day.
It was for that crime that Stroman was prosecuted, convicted and sentenced to death. During the sentencing phase, he made an obscene hand gesture to Hasan's relatives.
Stroman claimed his sister was on a top floor of the World Trade Center's North Tower when it and the adjacent South Tower collapsed after airliners were deliberately crashed into the buildings. But that claim was never substantiated during his murder trial and was not raised by his appellate attorney.
In a recent posting on his prison blog, Stroman says the 9/11 attacks sparked something inside him.
"Let's just say that I could not think clearly anymore and I am sorry to say I made innocent people pay for my rage, anger, grief and loss," he wrote.
Citing his own statements to fellow inmates, a federal appeals court, in denying his claims, concluded that Stroman believed that the U.S. government "hadn't done their job, so he was going to do it for them" by retaliating.
The man told his lawyers he once belonged to the Aryan Brotherhood, a white supremacist prison gang, and has a long criminal history of burglary, armed robbery and theft.
Of the 19 9/11 hijackers, 15 were from Saudi Arabia, two were from the United Arab Emirates, one was Lebanese and one was Egyptian, according to federal authorities.
Although he testified against his attacker, Bhuiyan has campaigned against Stroman's execution. A devout Muslim who came to the United States to pursue his education, Bhuiyan was working an extra job a decade ago and was about to be married.
He said a large "angry" man wearing a bandanna, sunglasses and a baseball cap approached him in the store and asked, "Where are you from?" Confused, Bhuiyan asked, "Excuse me?" Immediately afterward, he remembered being shot, "the sensation of a million bees stinging my face, and then heard an explosion."
But Bhuiyan has created a website, worldwithouthate.org, to urge Texas to spare Stroman's life. He also filed a "friend of the court" brief last week in the 5th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals, supporting Stroman's requested stay of execution.

"I -- and here I act as a spokesperson for the other victims' families as well -- have been denied our proper voice in the proceedings," Bhuiyan said in the court documents. "We do not wish to see Mark Stroman executed for his crimes. For myself, it is clear that nothing would cause more devastation and pain to the life I struggled to rebuild after the attack than for Mark Stroman to be killed."

(CNN) -- The defense rested Tuesday in the case of alleged Ohio serial killer Anthony Sowell, who is accused of sexually assaulting, killing and dismembering 11 Cleveland-area women between 2007 and 2009.
The defense called no witnesses and presented no evidence during the trial, according to CNN affiliate WOIO. Prosecutors rested their case against Sowell on Monday.
Opening statements in the trial were held June 27. If convicted, Sowell could face the death penalty. He has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity to the 85 counts he faces.
Investigators at Sowell's home discovered the remains of the 11 women -- ages 25 to 52 -- beginning in October 2009. Since then, other women have come forward alleging that Sowell attacked them, too.
Prosecutors focus on victims, crime scene
In April 2010, prosecutors handed down a 10-count indictment against Sowell in connection with the alleged rape of a 34-year-old woman in his home.
Sowell's lawyers have declined previous requests by CNN to explain their case, and the suspect has not been interviewed. But in January 2010, attorney John Parker told The Plain Dealer newspaper in Cleveland that he felt police violated Sowell's Miranda rights as he was being interrogated.
Sowell grew up in East Cleveland, joined the Marines at age 18, and traveled to California, North Carolina and Japan, authorities said. People who interacted with him after his 2005 release from prison, where he had served 15 years for attempted rape, said he appeared to be "a normal guy," known locally for selling scrap metal.
His inconspicuous two-story home sits in a dilapidated neighborhood known as Mount Pleasant, where one in five homes was in foreclosure and at least a third of residents got food stamps, according to a 2010 study by Case Western Reserve University's Center on Urban Poverty and Community Development.
Neighbors and even a city councilman had failed to realize that the stench wafting in the area around Sowell's home was from human flesh, not a byproduct of a nearby sausage factory.
Moreover, the disappearance of the 11 women -- many of whom lived nearby -- went largely unnoticed for almost two years, with only four of them even being reported missing. Many of his alleged victims struggled with drug addiction at some point in their lives, with court records showing that many resorted to stealing and prostitution to support their habits.
In late 2008, Gladys Wade told police that a man in a gray hoodie offered her beer, and when she declined, he punched her in the face several times. Wade said that he then tried to rape her, dragging her toward his home, adding that she got out only after "gouging his face."
Police investigated Wade's complaint, with one police report noting blood droplets on Sowell's walls and steps. But officers told CNN affiliate WKYC that the case was dropped after Wade declined to press charges.
After Wade's complaint, six more women disappeared.
Then, on September 23, 2009, a 36-year-old Cleveland woman told police a story eerily similar to those of Wade and the woman whose 1989 account led to Sowell's first conviction for attempted rape. She said he'd invited her into his home for beer, punched her in the face, then began performing oral sex on her -- releasing her only after she promised to return the next day.
Sowell was then arrested. More than a month later, police entered his house and found two bodies rotting in his attic. These were the first of the 11 bodies they'd eventually discover, in various states of decay, on his property.
Most of the women whose remains were found in and around Sowell's home were strangled by ligature -- which can include a string, cord or wire -- and at least one was strangled by hand, officials said. Seven still had ligatures wrapped around their necks. A skull is all that remains of one victim. It was found wrapped in a paper bag and stuffed in a bucket in the home's basement.

Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Bill Mason has said that his cold case unit is reviewing unsolved murders that occurred when Sowell lived in Cleveland and East Cleveland to see if there are any connections. Mason said the group is working its way through 75 cases.

That is really none of out business, lets try and focus on the killer since that is what the story is about right? or is there something I am missing? I am taking criminology for fun and I did learn that people growing up in bad neighborhoods have an affect on who they are. Nature v. Nurture. I do find this to be true because kids learn from experience and kids are very observant. I am curious to know how this will affect kids from this neighborhood. I am glad that they caught this sick bastard and that I hope he does get the death penalty. There is nothing more sinister than butchering another human being but to keep it close by in your own house is just down right wrong. Ew.

Levi Aron Pleads Not Guilty To Murder, Kidnapping Of Leiby Kletzky

Levi Aron is accused of kidnapping and murdering 8 year-old Leiby Kletzky. On Thursday he pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder and kidnapping charges, according to NBC News.
A first-degree murder indictment of Aron could come as early as today, CBS News reports.
Aron told his lawyer that he suffers hallucinations and hears voices, according to the New York Times, and the judge has ordered Aron be held without bail while he undergoes a psychological evaluation and is put on suicide watch.
Aron apparently has already confessed to the murder, according to police.
In the meantime, a portrait of Aron as a lonely, distraught man has emerged. The New York Daily News and The New York Post tracked down Aron's two ex-wives, both single moms he met online and to whom he was married less than a year.

It's not clear how Aron, 35, met wife No. 1, an Israeli named Diana Diunov, who came to the U.S. in 2002 for a liver transplant with her daughter, Edita. They married in June 2004. Seven months later, Diunov was indicted in Manhattan Federal Court for bilking diamond supply companies of $1.7 million.

Aron and Diunov split in August 2005; less than a month later, she married Boris Shvartzman, her co-conspirator in the diamond scam. She's in prison.

Aron moved on quickly, however, marrying Debby Kivel, a Memphis mom of two, just seven months after his divorce was final. The couple met on the Jewish matchmaking site, sawyouatsinai.com, and Aron moved in with her and her two young children.
Kivel dumped Aron a little less than a year later and the Post obtained a protective order she filed in 2006 claiming Aron was phycially abusive.
In one instance, months after their separation, the court document claims Aron snuck into Kivel's bedroom while she was sleeping and asked her to have sex with him, the Post reports. The document says Aron had previously called her and "if she did not have sexual relations with him, then he would kill himself, period."
The order also claims Aron had "been diagnosed with a behavior disorder and takes medication for the condition."
And disturbingly, considering the grisly details of Leiby Kletky's murder, Aron was a butcher during his time in Tennessee. A member of the synagogue where Aron and Kivel got married told the Post, "People complained because he sliced the meat so slowly, so methodically, and some realized he wasn't 100 percent."
After Tennessee, Aron moved back to his parent's attic in Brooklyn where he continued to pursue women online, in one instance getting engaged to a woman in Florida, who broke off the relationship weeks before the wedding, the News reports.
Yesterday thousands turned out to mourn the loss of Lieby Kletsky, as a neighborhood is left shocked and heartbroken over the news. "It's as if we all lost a child," said one woman.

This is upsetting none the less. This child is obvisouly disturbed who should have been taken better care of, but unfortunately was not, and hey not everyone can be watched. Like I have said before kids growing up in an environment where parents don't have the time, or the money, or even the fact of where they live perhaps in a community where the child felt out of place felt like this was socially acceptable because he was watching tv or even playing video games where Molotov cocktail's are used. As cool as they seem on the TV screen, they are not fun in real life. I hate to see youth like this go down that road of crime. But then again maybe he didn't know what he was doing was wrong. I don't know and I can't say for sure what he was thinking at the time. It just stinks that two helps 86 year old people died by the hands of this careless youth. It hurts me because my grandparents raised me and my older brother so I have so much respect for my elders, where as everyone else should and if you don't go get bent! But now here is the kicker for me folks. If this kid does know the difference between right and wrong what should be his fate? Oklahoma does have the death penalty--I am just throwing this out there but in this case due to the fact that he is only 15 and maybe have a mental disorder his chances are slim for walking the plank. I just hope that now since he is in custody that they can get him the proper help that he needs.

A Washington man accused of videotaping his sexual assaults of young boys is being allowed to continue watching the footage -- from the prison where is awaiting trial.
Marc Gilbert is acting as his own attorney in the case, which entitles him to review the evidence. In this instance the evidence is more than 100 DVD's containing more than a day of child pornography. Gilbert, a former jet pilot, is accused of luring more than a dozen boys to his home with promises of alchohol and flight lessons. Some of the videos he is viewing -- in a private room, so other inmates cannot see -- were allegedly produced during those encounters.

"Make no mistake -- I don't like it," said Pierce County Sheriff Paul Pastor. "But it is not my choice whether to do it or not to do it. There's no question that I don't like it. There's no question that this makes me grind my teeth."

My brain is on FIRE with this story right now. I first saw on CNN tv but I couldn't find it on their website. That monster figured out a way to screw with the system to still get his rocks off from his defense. No one saw this coming, probably because the system never thought that criminals like this would be smart enough to figure out how to do this. Ugh this makes me so sick! though of course as this monster is acting as his own attorney he wont be able to cross-examine the children that were involved in this heinous crime, hence why the judge has a stand-by council. God I am so lost for words right now. See this is the type of world we live in. It upsets me. Something needs to be done in order to stop monsters like this, be able to out smart the justice system.

The dismembered body of missing 9-year-old Brooklyn boy Leiby Kletzky was discovered early Wednesday morning in a dumpster outside an autobody shop in Greenwood Heights and in a refrigerator in the home of a man now in police custody, news agencies reported.
Part of the body was found in a red suitcase wrapped in a black trash bag in the Greenwood Heights dumpster, New York Police Department spokesman Paul J. Browne told the Associated Press. The gruesome discovery ended a nearly two-day-long search for the boy, who was reported missing on Monday evening.
At around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, police took a suspect, Brooklyn resident Levi Aron, into custody after tracking him down through surveillance footage and records from a local dentist's office -- the last place cameras captured the boy alive, Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said in a press conference. Aron, a building supply store employee, is believed to be the same man seen following the boy in the surveillance footage.
When investigators confronted Aron in his Kensington home and asked about the boy, he allegedly pointed towards his kitchen. Police say they noticed blood on the door handle of the refrigerator, in which they discovered some of Kletzky's body parts, a cutting board and three bloody knives.
The grisly find comes after a volunteer army of hundreds from the boy's close-knit Orthodox Jewish community joined law enforcement in an all-hands search for Leiby, who disappeared on his way home from a summer day camp.
The boy's parents became frantic when their only son failed to meet them at a designated spot halfway between his Borough Park school and the family's home, according to the Orthodox news website Yeshiva World News. Leiby, who is the second eldest of his five siblings, had never walked home alone before.
Volunteers from the neighborhood's civilian police and ambulance units combed the area with NYPD and FBI agents through Monday night and Tuesday. The Jewish community's Shomrim patrol -- a neighborhood watch group -- obtained the license plate of the suspect's vehicle, according to Kelly.

Workers were preparing to put up missing billboards along the Brooklyn Queens Expressway and the Prospect Expressway when police discovered the body, community leader and business owner Isaac Abraham told HuffPost.
The suspect allegedly told investigators that he killed the child after noticing leaflets featuring the child's face, which were plastered in neighborhoods across the borough.
"He saw the fliers, panicked and killed the boy," said Kelly.
Aron had no history of past crimes against children, Kelly noted. In fact, his only brush with the law was a summons for public urination, according to records obtained by police.
The suspect is divorced with no children, the New York Post reports.
For the community, the reaction has been one of shock.
"Even if he's a pedophile or a molester, he could have let the child go," said Abraham. "It's beyond belief, this brutality."

I think I just died a little on the inside. I can't believe someone would do this to a little boy. And the Irony of the whole thing was it was the boys first time walking home alone...and this happens. The parents are never going to be the same and nor are they going to allow their other children to be alone ever again. This monster took not only another human beings life, but he dismembered his small little body. Cannibal? Psycho? Did he understand what he was doing? Was it a kidnapping gone wrong for him? His first time and he didn't mean for things to get out of hand? Who knows what this man/monster was thinking when he took Leiby away from his family. All I know is that if this man gets to live in a New York prison or even go to a mental institution, there is no greater hell, then here on earth. To let a man live after doing something like this? I can't even. My word it is upsetting. My jaw is dropped at this right now. Minnestoa Wi-Fi hacker gets 18 years in prison

Minnesota hacker Barry Ardolf was sentenced to an 18-year term in a federal prison this Tuesday. Ardolf had terrorized a neighboring family for two years through a carefully planned campaign involving a hijacked Wi-Fi network to harass, frame and embarrass the next-door neighbors in every facet of their lives.

Ardolf’s obsessive passive-aggression was apparently ignited in late 2008 when his neighbors, Matt and Bethany Kostolnik, filed a police report against him. The Kostolniks had a 4-year old son who wandered over to their next-door-neighbors property shortly after moving into the Minnesota suburb of Blaine. Ardolf, 46 and a father of two, had reportedly picked the boy up carried him back to the couple and then kissed the child on the lips. Ardolf was offended when the cops were called and vowed his revenge like every good villain.

The man, a Medtronic computer technician, downloaded a Wi-Fi hacking program to tear into his neighbors WEP encryption. Ardolf created a fake Myspace page as well as several fake emails for Matt Kostolnik. The hacker then posted child porn on the Myspace page and emailed the same child porn to co-workers at Kostolnik’s law office.

To top it all off, the Blaine hacker sent death threats to Vice President Joe Biden and other politicians from Kostolnik’s Yahoo account. This granted Kostolnik a visit from the secret service who had traced the emails back to his IP address. One of the emails told Biden, “I swear to God I’m going to kill you!”

Ardolf’s mischief was detected when a frustrated Kostolnik told bosses he had no clue as to what was going on. The law office hired a firm to poke around the Wi-Fi network and install a packet sniffer to figure it all out. Eventually Ardolf’s name and Comcast account were found which gave the FBI a reason to obtain a search warrant for Ardolf’s house. They found massive evidence that led to the Blaine hacker being slapped with charges for identity theft, making threats against Biden, possession of child pornography as well as distribution of kiddie-porn.

The FBI also found evidence that Ardolf had staged a similar attack against in a family in Brooklyn Park for parking their cars in front of his house. Ardolf’s charges will tag him with lifetime-sex-offender registration requirements and after his release he’ll be supervised for 20 years. According to the Pioneer Press, he’ll also be restricted when working with computers by his parole officers. The man may have been a nightmare to live next to, but is the 18 years in prison a bit overkill?

Holy sweet mother of jeebus. This is not only crazy but this man's wife should have gotten him some help! Well here is another thing did she even know what he was doing at the computer? Let alone doing this to their poor neighbor? I am just shocked at his way of taking care of the child, he brought the baby back home and kissed him...how did he treat his own children? This article made me sick and heart broken. How in the hell can a human being hurt an animal. Wait let me rephrase this, this person is NOT a human being but a low life nasty creature that should get the same treatment! UGH. I love animals, and no I am not apart of PETA, I love eating chicken and tasty hamburgers as long as its done in a humane way then I have nothing wrong with eating my yummy meat favorites. I cannot believe that people actually get enjoyment for raising dogs to be fighters. Cowboy is what they named to little Pitbull, was chained and abused and was used for training. He was the doggie punching bag for the bigger meaner ones. I love dogs so much that I wish I could scoop them all up and bring them home with me and love them and care for them. I would need a huge ranch to do this but then again...its impossible. I live in a small apartment and can't afford nor even own a dog here. Lame. Any who animal cruelty boils my blood to a point I want to kick someone in the face. To be that ignorant and attack, kill, or even do this to another animals is disgusting. Not a man to hit another human being so you have to take it out or use animals for your pleasures? Though of course hitting another human is wrong its self--but you get what I mean. The woman who found the dog is such a blessing! The article said that he is a loving and sweet dog as well. To think that Pitbulls alone have a bad reputation. I believe its all in the way you raise them. Just like children. Dogs are not always aggressive, if you love them, take care of them, they will do the same for you. They are like your family and should be treated like family. NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Troy Allen Edwards was sentenced to 35 years in prison, with 20 years suspended, for the death of a 4-year-old Norfolk girl.
Edwards was charged with Felony Homicide and Child Neglect/Abuse.
In August 2008, Jathiya Wooden falsely told police that her daughter, Tamera, had disappeared from a playground. Wooden later admitted that the child's body was hidden in a closet in the 300 block of Little Creek Road.
Wooden told prosecutors that she stabbed the girl with an umbrella after the child tried to break free from being pinned behind a dresser as punishment.
In January, Wooden was sentenced to 25 years in prison for the murder. Edwards was Wooden's boyfriend, he was not Tamera's father.
Doctors said Tamera was starved, deprived of water and forced to stay in confined spaces. An autopsy found injuries on every part of the child's body.

See this makes me sick! This woman and the boyfriend are allowed to live? Where is the justice for this little girl that was starved, and pinned with a dresser for punishment?!!! The mother stabbed her with an umbrella who in the hell does this to children?! Not only that her OWN child?! Ugh stories like this make me SICK. Ok since this is my first posting I want to let everyone know my views on the death sentence. PLEASE MAKE IT LEGAL IN EVERY SINGLE STATE. I hate how they call this man a boy, just because he is 18. When he murdered those women he was 16 years old. “I then intentionally, deliberately and with pre-meditation shot the clerk causing her to die. I did this with specific intent to kill her,” Swanson told the court. is what he said. He knew that his actions were wrong and yet still proceeded to kill. He knows the difference between right and wrong. What I also don't understand is that so many people that are on trial for murder always want to plead out insanity. So you are saying that my tax paying dollars are going to someone who is dangerous, who killed, gets to sit in prison, eat, sleep, make friends, laugh and play while the victims family (families) suffer and they are paying for them???? Where is the justice in that? Any thoughts?
